Why Selah Scholars?
Selah Scholars Homeschool Tutorial is a Christian, Charlotte Mason-inspired drop-off tutorial. We focus on providing a beautiful, deep education that covers a variety of subjects, including reading, writing, Bible, science, history, poetry, music, nature notebooking, geography, and more. We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Bellevue area of Nashville, TN.
Our Morning Core ( legally required classes with a Charlotte-Mason flair) is taught through short, intentional, focused lessons twice each week. Due to the nature of these classes and to ensure all the basics are covered, students enrolled in the Morning Core are required to attend both Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Students may also meet Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoons for elective courses or in-depth studies.
In addition to academics, we focus on building meaningful community for students and their families through monthly clubs, field trips, organized social activities and events, and a welcoming atmosphere. Christ is not an afterthought, but the grand architect of all that we study.
